Wuliangye Group has more than 32,000 cellars, among which the ancient cellars originated in 1368 (the first year of Emperor Hongwu's reign) of the early Ming Dynasty have been included in the National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units. With an uninterrupted liquor-making history of over 650 years, they are the oldest cellar-type yeast fermentation pits in existence and the longest in use in China.
