In 2008, the Traditional Baijiu-making Technique of Wuliangye was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage item by the State Council of China.
In 2013, Wuliangye Ancient Cellar Site was approved and announced by the State Council as a major historical and cultural site protected at the national level.
In 2005, Wuliangye Old Fermentation Pit Mud became a permanent collection of the National Museum of China, the only "living cultural relic" in the museum.
In 2012, Wuliangye Old Workshop was included in China's World Cultural Heritage Tentative List.
In 2018, Wuliangye Old Fermentation Pit Group and its baijiu making workshops were listed in China's Industrial Heritage List by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
