1.Creating economic benefits for the country and society, offering other state-owned enterprises experiences for their reform and development
        For consecutive 5 years from the year 1999 to 2003, the company topped the entire province in term of profit tax, propelling the development of local associated industries, and rendering a large number of jobs for the local labor force. Since 1994, more than 4,000 surplus labors in Yibin City and the surrounding areas has been offered posts in Wuliangye Group, and the company pays them as much as over RMB 60 million Yuan each year. Wuliangye Group has made great contributions to the local economic development and social stability. On April 18, 1999 General Secretary Jiang visited the company in person as part of his investigation and research of state-owned enterprises, in which Jiang expressed his appreciation for the successful experience of the Wuliangye's reform and development. On October 5, 2000, Chairman Li Peng of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, pointed out after touring the group,  " State-owned enterprises can be revitalized definitely."  Three years later, on May 11, 2003, Wuliangye Group welcomed the visit by General Secretary Hu Jintao, who commended it with great passion,  " Wuliangye conceives promising prospect" .

2.Dedicating to realizing customers' fancy dreams and fostering all-round progress of the society
        The company unswervingly sticks to the quality as the center, adhering to the principle of high quality output deriving from large investment in high-tech. Wuliangye oversees every process with strict standards, from the raw material incoming, to base liquor brewing, and to liquor blending, then to inspection and packaging, every upstream process responsible for the downstream one. Thus, in 1988, the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision issued  " Wuliangye Liquor"  with the nation's first quality certificate, and the company passed the BVQI international quality certification for its up-to-standard quality system in 1994. Hoping our customers can consume authentic Wuliangye, the company invested hundreds of millions of funds to repeatedly polish the anti-counterfeit technology. Hoping to realize customers' fancy dreams, the company designed diverse types of Wuliangye series, targeting different needs from customers of diversified regions, ethnic groups, and distinct educational background. Hoping our customers can purchase Wuliangye series whenever they want, the company has set up nearly 500 outlets in various large and medium cities all over the country.         The Group, in recent years, have spent roughly 40 million Yuan in many social welfare causes, such as the anti-flood campaign and relief dispense in 1998, providing poverty alleviation aid to the designated sister regions, Project Hope, Suneyes Program, construction of public facilities, and social school-running etc. In 1998, the Group gave support to the honorary worker Mr. Zou Yulin for the on-foot world traveling, who got to the Lausanne-based headquarters of IOC in Switzerland in February 2002 and submitted a written appeal to express Chinese people's wish to host the Olympic Games. Moreover, the Group organized a package of activities such as the symposium for the contemporary writers,  " Academic and Cultural Workshop of the Liquor City Yibin"  and  " Liquor-cultural Forum between the Taiwan Straits"  and so on.
        While the company is going to great lengths on the internal environmental cleaning, forestation and beautification, it is also proactively getting itself involved in the same cause for Yibin City. From 1991 to 2002, the company invested a total of 100 million Yuan or so on Yibin's urban projects like urban construction, forestation, beautification, statuary-building, road improvement, highway management and clean-keeping etc. The company assumes the responsibility to plant trees every year, and till now, it has carried out the forestation work in many mountains in Yibin, including Cuike Mountain, Cuiping Mountain, Baita Mountain, and Mantou Mountain etc. In addition, about 98,000 person-times from the company volunteered to plant trees between 1982 and 2002, and the Wuliangye Group, with an investment of over one million Yuan into the environmental cleaning, forestation and beautification for the city, has made great contribution to this brilliant historic and cultural city.
