Recently, Wuliangye is the ˇ°King of Liquor Industry in Chinaˇ± appeared in Seoul. On May 18, Wuliangye held the tasting meeting of ˇ°World Famous Liquor Wuliangye in Seoulˇ± and took part in the ˇ°9th Seoul International Wines Exhibition in 2011ˇ± on May 19.
Nearly 200 people, including Tang Qiao, Chairman of Wuliangye Group, Zhu Zhongyu, Deputy General Manager of Wuliangye Co., Ltd, Lee Jaehyuk, Representative Director of LOTTE Liquor Co., Ltd, present team of Southern Korean Association of Liquor Import, and the reprehensive of South Korean media, such as Chosun Ilbo, JoongAng Ilbo, KBS and MBC, Zhou Changting, Minister-Counselor of Economic and Commercial Office of Chinese embassy in South Korea and other officials and the representatives from the Chinese media and enterprises in South Korea, attended this tasting meeting.
 
Tasting Meeting
 
At the tasting meeting, Tang Qiao, Chairman of Wuliangye Group, introduced the long history and unique advantages of Wuliangye in his speech. Besides, he also introduced Wuliangye was accelerating its pace in implementing the internationalization strategy. On the one hand, through continually carrying out various brand promotion activities in other countries, Wuliangye rapidly enhanced the brand recognition; on the other hand, Wuliangye would comprehensively integrate the international marketing channels and construct an overseas marketing system. As to this, Zhou Changting, Minister-Counselor of Economic and Commercial Office of Chinese embassy in South Korea, expressed, China and South Korea were strongly complementary to each other in economy and the economic and trade cooperation had unique natural and human conditions. The cooperation between Wuliangye and the famous wine enterprises in South Korea would yield substantial results. A South Korean person attending the meeting expressed that  
 
Wuliangye had a long history and it was a kind of world famous liquor and the king of liquor industry in China. The cooperation between the South Korean liquor enterprises and Chinese liquor enterprises had a deeper significance in promoting the exchange between the South Korean enterprises and Chinese enterprises.
 
At the meeting, both Chinese representatives and South Korean representatives tasted the products under Wuliangye. The good taste won great claim from the South Korean liquor enterprises. At the meeting, South Korea prepared instrument and dance performance with traditional color of South Korea for Wuliangye Group and invited famous South Korean singers to give performance, which made Wuliangye and people attending the meeting enjoy the authentic South Korean customs. In return, Wuliangye Group brought the performance of Face Changing with Sichuan features, which surprised the South Korean engaged in liquor industry and made them clap and shout ˇ°Bravoˇ±. Moreover, during the tasting meeting, there was also the on-site prize drawing activity, with Wuliangye products as the prize. The representatives from Wuliangye Group and South Korean Liquor Industry drew the lucky winners on the site as the guests for prize drawing. While the prizes appeared one after another, the atmosphere of the tasting meeting came to a climax.
 
     
 
Exhibition
 
After the tasting meeting passed off successfully at night of May 18, Tang Qiao, Chairman of Wuliangye Group, took part in the opening ceremony of the ˇ°9th Seoul International Wines Exhibition in 2011ˇ± on May 19, which raised the curtain of Wuliangye taking part in the exhibition with the broad-line products of Wuliangye Fengtan Liquor, Wuliangye Liquor, Liuheye Liquor, Wuliangchun Liquor and Xianlin Green Plum Liquor, etc. Wuliangye exhibition area was at the midfield of the exhibition hall. The red region was very eye-catching and attracted many South Korean guests to consulate. During the exhibition, Wuliangye Group also designed the prize quiz of knowledge about Wuliangye, which immediately livened up the atmosphere of the site. Everyone rushed to participate in the activity, which became a highlight of the whole exhibition.
 
     
 
Although this trip to Seoul is short, Wuliangye made great achievements. It does not only lay a good and solid foundation for the cooperation with the famous wine enterprises in South Korea through the harmonious communication atmosphere at the tasting meeting and the smooth implementation of the exhibition, it also made active contact with LOTTE Group, one of the Fortune 500 and DFS, one of the internationally well-known duty-free groups, so as to obtain more development opportunity. Taking this as the beginning, Wuliangye will adhere to the operating principle of ˇ°leading by market, taking service as the aim, seeking market from the whole world and global resource allocationˇ±, with its unique strategic thought, which will certainly promote the strong rising of Chinese liquor industry in the international market.
