On 12 May, 2008 at 14:28, a great 8.0-magnitude earthquake occurred in Wenchuan County of Sichuan with big intensity, wide coverage and serious damages.

         That unexpected disaster leads deep hurt and serious suffering to the people in disaster area. It affected all the Chinese people at the same time.

After the earthquake, Wuliangye Group made responses immediately. It presented much care to earthquake resistance and disaster rescue, for example, establishing a leading group for rescue work, setting up the office for leading group from various departments, a rescue command center and working groups in severely-damaged areas.
